Maybe I'm not the first who's asking this:
Whenever I try to use the koma script letter class in LyX 1.0-Pre6, I get
the following LaTeX error...

"There's no line here to end"

...in the "opening" Environment/line, which renders my document
useless. According to Lamport, this error message indicates an illegal use of
a "\newline" or "\\" command between two paragraphs.

However, I use none of them in my "opening" line, and neither can I find any
in the LaTeX source code exported from LyX (see below).

Could this be a LyX bug?

Florian

P.S.
The LaTeX source looks like this:
--- snip ---

\begin{document}

\backaddress{Florian Cramer\\
Berlin}

\address{foo.bar\\
Berlin}

\subject{some subject}

\signature{Florian Cramer}

This is my letter. blablabla

\opening{Dear Mr. X,}

\closing{Greetings,}

\end{document}
