toggling font styles.

Hi all,

Would it be possible in LyX to TOGGLE font-bold and font-code 
as is the case with font-emph, font-noun, font-underline etc?
Currently I have to to use the character layout dialog to reverse
an unintended bold-style or code-style and that is not very
convenient. I'm am using LyX 1.0.0.
