put your cursor in the column with the text (includes the linebreaks)
than right mouse buttons opened the tabular menue. Now disable the
button for linebreaks (Zeilenumbr�che in german). Pay attention now
for \\ in texmode, they don't work right, when linebreaks are not
enabled.
