I just started using LyX1.0.2. Had no trouble compiling it on my DecAlpha
with Digital Unix 4.0. Starts up fine. Then, I check out the Help menu
and decide to print one out for convenience. I tried View DVI, View Postscript,
and Print from the file menu, but I keep getting the red error messages.
They say
!Undefined control sequence.
<argument>C-\textless
{}
1.79 ...ion.{[}What does "\textsf{C-\testless{}}
"
The control sequence at the end of the top line of your
error message was never \def'ed. If you have misspelled it
{e.g., '\hobx'}, type "I" and the correct spelling (e.g., 'I\hbox').
Otherwise just continue, and I'll forget about whatever was undefined.
Whew, that was a lot of typing. Which I could copy and paste from the LaTeX
error box that pops up.
All the error messages are like that, and all the Help documents have errors
of that form. The LaTeX process stops with no output. I have been using
LaTeX (teTeX) for quite a while and it seems to be working fine for my
ordinary LaTeX documents.
Anyone else seen this?
Thanks,
Joel
