This is a problem with adobe courier font, which is much larger than
times at the same size. As a workaround, you can use the pslatex.sty
package, which scales the fonts correclty. You will find it at CTAN at
the adress
ftp://ftp.loria.fr/pub/unix/tex/ctan/macros/latex/contrib/supported/pslatex
Just change the font setting on Layout->Document to 'default' and add
\usepackage{pslatex} in the preamble.
Concerning urls going out of the right margin, you probably do not
have the url.sty package. Install it (its location is given in
Help->LaTeX Configuration) and things should improve.
