Hi, I've just installed tkbibtex which I've read can
communicate with LyX directly through pipes. However I
can't get the pipes to work. I've alread added the line
\serverpipe "/home/qam/.lyxpipe
to my ~/.lyxrc file but when I run LyX neither the
.lyxpipe.in nor the .lyxpipe.out pipes are created. I tried
typing in the short line in the "Extended documentation" to
send some info to the LyX document but nothing happens
because the pipes aren't created and tkbibtex reports "LyX
not active". I tried it also in kLyX by adding the
\serverpipe line to the
/home/qam/.kde/share/apps/klyx/lyxrc file but it doesn't
work in kLyX as well. What am I doing wrong. I have read
the "Extended documentation" fully and completely.
I am using LyX 1.0.2 on a Solaris machine. Thanks.
