Sorry if this is a FAQ - I'm scouring the documentation, but it's hard
to know what to search for.
I am writing the documentation for a software project, and need to
have many figures that will consist of nothing but source code. Can I
make these float? I would rather refer to Figure XX, then to
constantly be saying things like "The following code shows:
blah blah();
blah();
and so on. I'm reading the user's guide, and it seems to imply that a
figure is basically a graphic. I don't like the idea of having to
turn my code snippets into eps files before including them, that'd
take me forever!
Any help greatly appreciated. Please dear gods, don't make me use MS
Word.
