I am having some trouble with an old document that I am updating. I have
altered the BoundingBox for a postscript figure that I would like to
include in the document in order to exclude some descriptive text on the
periphery. The figure displays correctly within lyx, ie. the descriptive
text is indeed excluded. However, when I create the postscript output of
the entire document the extraneous text appears again, outside of the
figure region that I have defined in lyx. I have used this trick before
in hand coded LaTeX and it works like a charm. The original figures
still have their required documentation which I need when I make a full
page printout, but I can still use the figure in a document without
having to make a second version of the figure. I just upgraded to
lyx-1.0.3-1.i386.rpm, but I was having the same problem with version
1.0.2. I also recently upgrade to the ghostscript 5.50 rpms. All of this
is running on a Redhat 6.0 system. TIA
