Here is how to set up a filter for the lyx-users list under kmail.
The filter would put a message arriving from the list to the lyxu folder.
(All these under kmail 1.028, but earlier might work too).
0) Create the lyxu folder.
1) Select Filter from the File menu.
2) Select New from the popup.
3) Write mailing-list in the first cell of the first line.
4) Write lyx-users in the last (third) cell of the first line.
5) Select transfer from the first cell in the fourth line, and select lyxu
from second cell in the same line.
6) Select "skip rest" from first cell in the 5th line.
7) Click OK.
