I'm trying to convert all the text in an article I created to Helvetica
font by changing the "Fonts" field in the Document Layout window from
"default" to "helvet". This seems to have no effect on the dvi or
postscript output despite the "\usepackage{helvet}" line in the tex file.
The text remains in what appears to be Times font. However I don't have
this problem when I change font to palentino.

My system is a standard install of Redhat Linux 6.0 for i386.

Other info:

>rpm -q lyx
lyx-1.0.4-1
>rpm -q tetex
tetex-0.9-17

Anyone know how I can get Helvetica font? I apologize if this is more of a
latex question than a lyx question but I'm a newbie to both.
