Produce A4 two-columns in LyX (normal portrait) then print
throuh psnup -2 : this prints two A5 portrait pages as one landscape A4 page.
psnup is a part of psutils package, that you should get if you haven't already
because it is very useful (allows to print for binding e.g.).
