Hi there,

I'm quite exprienced with latex but a beginner with lyx. So excuse my
possibly dump questions....

I'll try to import a latex file into lyx but have the following
difficulties with the \includegraphics command

a) It seems that lyx/reLyX does not honour the starred form of the
\includegraphics command. I do understand that this might be a bit
   difficult to implement....

b) The include graphics command provides a handy way to define the
   file-extension, i.e.

      \DeclareGraphicsExtensions{.eps, .EPS}

either I'm doing something wrong, or this is ignored, thus lyx is
unable to locate my files :-(

c) I keep all my eps-files in a subdirectory. While latex finds those
files after adding ./eps to TEXINPUTS, lyx fails to find them. Is
lyx ignoring the TEXINPUTS variable, or is it again stupid me?

A similar problem exists with user defined style files residing in
   a non standard location.

I'm grateful for any hints

    Cheers

        Uli
