Strange behaviour in 1.1.4pre2

Hi

Firstly, many thanks to the developers. 

I am experiencing strange behaiour in Insert-Cross reference. My list of
Labels doesn't appear most of the time, or I get am incomplete list. I
am using Kayvan's RPM, on RH6.1.
