I've compiled LyX 1.1.4 for Win98 now ;-) You can fetch it under

    http://www.fh-hannover.de/mbau/tim/hentschel/pub/lyx114.zip

This file includes ispell for cygnus in the external directory! What to do,
is to put your hash files into /usr/local/lib on drive C: and configure your
spellchecker for the correct language!
