I am trying to change the characteristics of the letter style so that
my `from address' is in a different place (centered, rather than right
aligned).
I put \renewcommand\address{\fromaddress\center} in my preamble, which
works. However it then insists on giving me a page break between my
address and the next line (the toaddress). I am quite clear that I have
done something wrong! Can anyone explain what?
I did try using the paragraph/center function in LyX, but it appeared
to do nothing whatsoever -- presumably because the style takes
precedence.
