personnaly i use docbook articles fine.
first, i can export to sgml. theni use db2html or db2ps to get html or
ps. this is part of a package of sgml stylsheet. (on top of sgmltools
2.0)
i can also view postscript.
here are the package i use (this is mandrake 6.1, but i also use m7.
this is redhat compatible)
[root@mars /root]# rpm -qa | grep sgml
sgml-common-0.1-3mdk
howto-sgml-6.0-5mdk
sgmltools-CVS19990807-2
[root@mars /root]# rpm -qa | grep sty
stylesheets-0.9-3mdk
[root@mars /root]#
u can find them on rpmfind.net, or any linux-mandrake.com mirrors
sgml-tools and lyx comes from ftp.sylvan.com
