This happens due to the misfunction fork() system call under cygnus. I
mentioned it many times in this list and lyx-devel and that is the reasson,
that inline viewing of images is NOT AVAILABLE in this port ;(
Please be sure to remove "gs" from \ps_command in your lyxrc file in
$HOME/.lyx! It is now better when moving /apps/lyx114/external/gs to
something other, so runconfigure will not find gs and will not insert gs!
