I am writing a two column book. I want to change a table, which is to broad for one column, to longtable. Do I have to insert-> floats -> wide table float copy the content of the former table float into the new wide table float or is there a shortcut where I just somehow tell Lyx to change the table into wide table? Same problem with figure/widefigure. If I have to use the awkward way, how do I mark the table for cutting? My table float has the legend on top, below is the table. If I mark the table, it stops in the last cell of the last column/row, or one step further, it is outside the table. In both cases I can�t cut the table. What is the trick? Thanks again for help
