Sorry, I can't help you directly, but if you know how to use Type 1
fonts...

I'm pretty sure I saw TrueType -> Type 1 font converter somewhere. I think
it was in FreeType package (go search at freshmeat.net).

It should be possible to use Type 1 fonts, althought I don't know how.
