Hi!

Remember my first post?

I think I found the problem now. If I turn off pdf_mode, it works
fine. It sounds quite logical to me that the .dvi file won't be found
if a .pdf is generated. Seems to be a bug...

But there's still another problem:

/usr is mounted read-only via NFS. On the server, everything is as
described above. But on the clients I find only two files after doing
a "View DVI": README.tex and README.tex. After running lyx with
"-dbg any" I got the following output:

....
makeLaTeXFile...done
Finished making latex file.
Dependency file does not exist
Run #1
Log file: README.log
Log line:
deptex: README.idx
deptex: README.lof
deptex: README.loa
deptex: README.lot

Dep. file has NOT changed
Write dep: /tmp/lyx_tmp2171aaa/lyx_bufrtmp2171aaa/README.tex 3103310769 3103310769
Done.

file:README.dvi: Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht gefunden (=File not found)

To me, that looks perfectly OK but something must be wrong!
