I generate PDFs by exporting my LyX documents as LaTeX, then running
texi2pdf -c -p -l latex <filename.tex>
After a while, I built a little shell script to act as a wrapper for
multiple-file documents and to speed the process up in general.
While we're on the subject, I've noticed that PDF output seems to
rapidly be moving towards the preferred format. Are there plans to
integrate PDF production more tightly into LyX? The ability to
generate a Table of Contents for the left pane of Acrobat Viewer based
on the LyX TOC would be cool, for example.
