mandrake 7.1. ships with LyX 1.1.4fix3,
I also had it, but immediately upgraded to the latest stable version,

I can recommend the rpm packages from

            ftp://ftp.sylvan.com/pub/lyx

Personally I had to download the xforms rpm:s from the same site as well
