Thanks for your help!

In fact, it works, but not in the preamble. When set in the preamble,
the \noextrasfrancais is
put before the \begin{document}, and then is not taken into account.

If it is put after the \begin{document}, or in \AtBeginDocument{}, it
works.

So, the right solution would be to put the latex command (in red)
\noextrasfrancais at the top of the document. Forget the patch, and
thanks again.
