Dear all,
I have set up a template document for report writing in which I define
some variables in the Latex preamble eg:-
\newcommand{\us}{Barron McCann Ltd }
\newcommand{\reportdate}{12th October 2000 }
\newcommand{\testdate}{9th - 11th October 2000 }
etc (there are several more)...
This works perfectly for DVI/PS/Latex(hence PDF) output, but when I use
the ASCII export option, the variables used in the text disappear. Is
this a bug, or am I missing something?
