change font for section env

Hi everyone,

Is it possible to change just the font used for the Section
environment in a document? I'm using the default font for an article
document, however I want to use sans serif for the section titles. I'm
guessing that I should add something like \sectionfont{\sffamily} to
the latex preamble, it didn't work though.

I would appreciate any pointers. Thanks in advance.
