Math labels.

Hello,

I have a couple of questions about math labels.
How can one have lyx label equations using section numbers
instead of chapter numbers?
Once a math-label has been set, how can one change it? In a
regular label one can click it and change it in the pop-up menu,
but I am unable to get this to work in math mode.
I am using 1.1.5fix1 on solaris.
