Hello Allan & everybody, I understand that one of the major strongholds of LyX is productivity. That's why I write: to report that LyX has been being used for a year and a half now to produce *in-real-time* notes out of physics lessons at my faculty. I have learnt to type at a moderate speed and prepared some macros for the most popular math expressions, and that's all to it. If you want to access the source of this GFDL'd documents, point your browser to p42.org ("asignaturas" section). I consider this to be a rather interesting achievement, because you would never be able to reasonably follow a Partial Differential Equations Course typing with LaTeX or TeX and LyX makes it accesible to everyone. Unfortunately I think Mike (Ressler) didn't incorporate this into his FAQ. I think this is as worth of mention as the novels, for it might encourage others to GFDL their documents and provide a stable basis for a pool of shared knowledge. Anybody interested in constructing a framework for shared document development (or rather, putting glue between the existing solutions for code, and easing access and manipulation of these), please mail with suggestions or whatever, thank you P.S. amusing LDN!! -- Álvaro Tejero Cantero Facultad de Física de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid p42.org
