authors

Hi!

I'm using a class from an ACM conference.  I've been able to add this
class successfully to Lyx and modified the article layout to use that
class. 

However, I don't seem to be able to customize the authors part by
using latex as such:

\numberofauthors{2}
\author{
\alignauthor Myriam Abramson
\alignauthor Allen Doe
}

it just seems to be ignored.  I'm using Lyx 1.1.5Fix2. Any hints on
how to do that?
