While I'm on it, another that seems like a bug in LyX. I'm writing documentation. I open LyX help documentation (read-only) from the help menu. I want to try out what I just read from it. When I select File/new I get the following message: "LyX Internal Error. Could not test if directory is writeable. No such file or directory." If I press dismiss, new empty document opens just fine. This one seems to be perfectly repeatable.
