Hi Lyxers,
in lyx-1.1.5fix2 I used to have the american keymap as first choice and
the german one as second. If I try to setup up ditto via the new
preferences popup -which by the way collides a bit with our lyxrc files-
the american.kmap messes my keyboard up. Some examples:
. -> '' (nothing)
+ -> ''
- -> 'fig' (the red figure insert symbol)
` -> 'margin' (the red margin note insert symbol)
' -> 'foot' .......
All these periphery keys are oddly mapped, from my german point of view.
Correct me if I'm wrong. Can you reproduce that behavior?
My work-around is to only specify the second keyboard map and leave the
1st blank. Since english is default language it maps correctly.
