In fact I used the other way round: write formulas (or more compliacated
stuff) in LaTeX and import eps in xfig.
I went even to the idea of a bank of formulas (source TeX, eps and other
formats) shared betweeen users on intranet...
As for the pstex stuff, I have a perl script which calls fig2dev on
the .fig file. Very useful when the exported format changes to recreate
a whole family of files, and prone to filtering between xfig and LyX/LaTeX
to cope with little problems.
