and very often a missing parenthesis or an environment which doesn't
belongs to your text. Anyway, your formulas are part of a section title,
which makes things very complicated.
choose standard paragraph style for the formulas and all
should work well.
by the way: the first commands in your latex preamble are obsolete,
lyx put them by default in your tex file.
