Dear list-members, I do not know where to send my wishes regarding the usability of LyX. Could anybody help, please? Or maybe there are some work-arounds which I don't know?
/ I have some proposals regarding the usability. At least for me and my personal use some things could be more comfortable, and I stumble across it again and again: + I would find it very useful to be able to switch the cursor from the index-window to the text-documents directly. I mean by this, that when I for example find for a certain place in the document via the index, and then start typing, the text is inserted in the filter-field of the index. Is there any easy way to get back to the document? I always have to click into it several times, until the cursor really gets there. And no, this is not my mouse… :] + Sometimes I also think it would be more comfortable to have the possibility to have the index-window in a different frame, but in the same window as the text. Then it would not be necessary to resize the items again and again. Especially when I want to enlarge the index-window I could do this over the document, but could not resize that then. I always have to think of making the document-window smaller first. Particularly in fullscreen-mode the window of the index is always in the way. LyX 2.1.3 OSX 10.8.5 / Thank you, best Jess
