These crashes are difficult to reproduce on a developer system. I had them once and the change fixed it. Later I got them again and now they are gone again without any change. Sorry, it's not clear what's triggering them. It happens on destruction of the LinkBack-machinery on exit of LyX. I want to give it another try and made a change to address the cause of the problem. I can make a LyX 2.1.4 with this change and will be happy if you are willing to test it. Regards, Stephan
