If you do not understand a term that is used, please feel free to ask. Thanks for making a simple minimal example. It is a good MWE! The reason why "Commentary" doesn't show up is because you have two titles in your LyX file. The second title overwrites the first one. If you want one title with two lines, use ctrl + return (on Linux, not sure on Mac/Win). If you want to change "Roger" to be an author, but the cursor anywhere on the line with "Roger" and change the dropdown box in the upper-left from "Title" to "Author". Best, Scott
