You shouldn't. They should convert properly (in the sense that they should
output without error and produce the same output as in LyX 2.1).
Note that the conversion of glosses is rather simple. Their content is
wrapped in ERT in order to mimic the old behavior. So if you want to use
the new features, particularly support of multiple encodings, you will need
to modify the glosses.

But as others have said, I would not jump on that ship for serious work now.
