Paul, That's correct. By setting the column width of the cell I want to span two lines to a length that accommodates the text on each line then I have a narrow cell with two lines of column heading text.
Let's say I have two columns and join the top two cells in the right column to make a single header cell.
This makes the two columns into a single column for that row. That's a horse of a different garage.
Is that what you want, or am I missing something?
