Yes, that looks like a valid comment. I had never heard of Mageia until you popped up on this mail list. Reading through your posts, it seems that you are almost a lone star. I am also using a small Linux distro, MX-Linux. It is a
development from Mepis and antiX, based upon Debian stable, and run by a
group of enthusiastic volunteers. One advantage that I am enjoying, is that we have a (small) packaging team who have put Lyx 2.2 into a single package for users to download. From this, I have added a few extra Texlive units, mainly for some experimentation, but the 2.2 package was downloaded and installed in less than
five minutes and is managing a technical documentation project very well.
