Yes, you can as follows: add a row at the top, select it, go to the table properties > multi-page table > row settings > Caption and check the box. ________ Merci. I am not sure if I am following: I think your approach is fine for tables entered in lyx, but I am dealing with imported tables, i.e. the table data are imported from .tex files created upon compilation (by data extraction from another file). How does your approach work for imported tables - or am I missing something pretty obvious? /J.
