buster/sid (testing/unstable): 2.2.3
LyX 2.2.3 is the current stable release. LyX 2.3.0 has not been
released yet. The latest development (beta) release (for testing
purposes only, not for productive use) is LyX 2.3.0beta1, the one you
seem to have installed already.
If you want to check out a more recent version of forthcoming LyX 2.3,
you either need to build yourself from the git repository or wait for
the next pre-release (probably LyX 2.3.0rc1).
