So I suggest you look for something in the document class or the layout file as the cause. Andreaswhat about this (attached). I took out all the boxes and used for the former content of the boxes a float table, where I used 'set multi-column' (second last item at the bottom of the table environment: you have to mark those columns with your mouse button pressed you would like to combine, including the first one with the text to be inserted; same with the right side of the combined text). A problem (at least not nice) might be, that you have this table standing alone. In case you have more than this one of a similar type, you could perhaps put several of them on the same page, thus filling it - ask the gurus how to refer to them separately.
