Hi Scott,

thank you for your suggestion concerning cmake instead of rpmbuild.

Because the LyX configure-script does not handle $QTDIR correctly I
did it the brute force way, I changed the configure line in lyx.spec :

./configure --prefix=%{_prefix} \
        --mandir=%{_mandir} --bindir=%{_bindir} --datadir=%{_datadir} \
        --enable-build-type=rel \
        --with-qt-dir=/usr/share/qt5/ --enable-qt5 \
        %{version_suffix}

and then
  rpmbuild -bb /usr/src/packages/SPECS/lyx.spec
works fine :-)
