I'm not sure you are using the latest version. We changed from using "versioned" binaries, with the version number like that, to using "unversioned" ones, so the filename should jsut be tex2lyx.exe, not tex2lyx2.3.exe. Try moving (or removing) your LyX user directory, whose location you can find under Help> About LyX. It should be something like C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Roaming\LyX\. Riki
