Because Inkscape and MS Edge renders the drawing in the same way, this
probably indicates that the problem lies in the Inkscape converter that
LyX uses.

For some reason I do not manage to use Inkscape for Graphics in LyX. I
get an "Error converting to loadable format." But when I use the
External Material Inkscape figure, I get the correct arrows, probably
because it uses PDF. But the arrows are fine too when I export as PNG
directly in Inkscape. Can you tell me what your converter is for
SVG -> PNG
under Tools -> Preferences -> File Handling -> Converters?
