OK -- I've tested it. Renaming "rsvg-convert.exe" to something else, and "Reconfigure" LyX works. I can now *more safely* import *.svg files in LyX.

* There are *still* some problems with arrows with "broken neck". As an example, the attached file looks bad, even when I use the Inkscape driver to preview in LyX.

Because Inkscape and MS Edge renders the drawing in the same way, this probably indicates that the problem lies in the Inkscape converter that LyX uses.

For some reason I do not manage to use Inkscape for Graphics in LyX. I get an "Error converting to loadable format." But when I use the External Material Inkscape figure, I get the correct arrows, probably because it uses PDF. But the arrows are fine too when I export as PNG directly in Inkscape. Can you tell me what your converter is for

SVG -> PNG

under Tools -> Preferences -> File Handling -> Converters?
