Dear Dolan,
We definitely need more information. What is wrong with your file? Do
you have a backup (same name with a ~ at the end)?
I'll just mention that LyX files are text files. So worst case scenario
is that you can open it with a text editor and extract the content that way.
I received the file privately, and it only contains NULs. So this plan
will not work.
