| Hello,
|
| I'm trying to use the unix based LyX remotely with an X-Server, the
| display is an NT machine with the Exceed X-Server.
|
| The setup is that there is a linux machine on which I've compiled lyx
| 1.1.6fix1 and is used as the remote machine for the NT machine.
|
| Everything is working fine, except the hebrew support, when I'm using
| hebrew the characters that get displayed are all english characters, I do
| not know what happens in the postscript output since I'm yet to install
| the hebrew latex package.
|
| The question is, what can I do to have the hebrew fonts show up? It's
| pretty hard to read hebrew by remembering the corresponding english
| letters! (Ivrit Kasha Safa! - [Literal translation: Hebrew language
| hard! {Yes, the bad grammar is intentional, it is also in the hebrew
| sentence - full explanation upon request}]).
|
| I've tried installing the fonts on the linux machine and doing xset +fp .
| it didn't help. I do not have local access to the linux machine, only
| remote by ssh. I also do not have admin access to both machines (linux and
| nt).
|
| Any help or hint will be appreciated.

Fonts are got from the local Xserver or the fontserver. (setup your
remote server as a fontserver for the local server)
