image preview in document

Nowadays, i have lyx 1.1.6fix1, but i can't see the ps images in the lyx
document (i mean not in preview with dvi or ps, but in the text while i'm
writting). I was able to do it before i changed my distribution from redhat to
debian. 

I think my system lack of any library for this. is this right? how can i correct
this?
