I use lyx 1.1.6fix1 for *WINDOWS*, with cygwin1.1.8.
As suggested, I upgraded both cygwin and lyx. All seems to work
right, except for DVI preview: YAP (dvi viewer) shows this message
:"c:/cygwin/tmp/lyx_tmpdir[...]/lyx_tmpbuf[...]/a4.dvi Cannot open
DVI document".
Trying to export DVI from inside lyx and then open it with the same
YAP it produces a "bad DVI file" error message.
Anyway the Postscript preview from lyx *works*!!
Of course the previous version of Lyx (1.1.5fix2) didn't have any
problem.
