I'd says the important stuff is in "~/.lyx". The conf thing is the
session settings (window size...), which may be useful but may also not.
The part that makes life difficult is the different packages installed
on the two Linux installation, especially since LyX adapts to whatever
is available. I do not have specific tips on how to handle that, though.
If you transfer the .lyx directory, do not forget to run
"tools>reconfigure" on the new system.
