Please, don’t top post! IMO, you have two options: 1. encrypt the mysteries of enchant and find it yourself, as LyX is not responsible for this operation. Read the doc here: https://abiword.github.io/enchant/ 2. Switch to a less intransparent beast and use e.g. Hunspell.
